Community Wellbeing

L 3

The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Community Wellbeing is relevant to all employers across Wales who have / will have in future community well-being associated roles, such as local councils/authorities, private well-being related organisations, sports and leisure clubs, and community organisations.

This qualification aims to provide the knowledge and competency to support and enhance wellbeing workers to enable individuals link to community assets and better manage their physical, mental, emotional and social wellbeing.

It also provides recognised accreditation suitable for practitioners and employers to address the skills gap and need for proactive services as outlined in the Wellbeing of Wales report.

It contributes to standardising the quality and consistency of the Community Wellbeing sector and associated support delivered across Wales.

This qualification is aimed at learners over 16 years of age.

Clinical Imaging and Radiation Sciences 

L 3

The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Imaging and Radiation Sciences aims to provide Band 2 and 3 Healthcare Support Workers and Radiology Clinical Support Worker (RCSW) an introduction to safe and effective working practices in clinical imaging and radiation sciences. It is a work-based qualification that meets the expectations of the NHS Wales Skills and Career Framework for Healthcare Support Workers supporting Nursing, Allied Health Professions and Healthcare Science professions. 

The qualification will be available via the apprenticeship route but can also be delivered as a standalone qualification where required. 
 
This qualification is aimed at learners over 18 years of age. 

Dietetic Support

L 3

The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Dietetic Support is for support workers in NHS Wales, providing dietetic support to individuals in hospital, public health, community and domiciliary settings, under the direction of a dietitian. 

It recognises roles currently undertaken by dietetic support workers working with individuals in the following services: adult services; paediatric services; public health; catering services. 

To undertake this qualification, learners must be employed in roles where the Dietetic Service is either all or part of their work. This may be in the NHS, local authority or Public Sector. 

This qualification is the preferred qualification for dietetic support workers in Wales. 
Dietetic support workers will have the opportunity to complete the qualification and/or to achieve elements of it for continuing professional development (CPD). It is designed to support changes in practice over time. 
 
This qualification is aimed at learners over 18 years of age. 

This qualification replaces C00/1486/8 Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Dietetic Support.

Speech & Language Therapy Support

L 3

The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy Support (Wales) is for support worker roles within Speech and Language Therapy Service settings in Wales, who are providing support to individuals under the direction of a professionally registered Speech and Language Therapist. It provides a qualification that recognises the roles currently undertaken by support workers employed by NHS Wales. 

To undertake this qualification, learners must be employed in roles where they are required to use Speech and Language Therapy support skills. The qualification was developed to provide governance of practice in Wales through external quality assurance. 

It is the preferred qualification for NHS Wales, and it is expected that all Speech and Language Therapy based support workers will have the opportunity to complete the qualification. Learners may also be able to undertake individual units from the qualification as part of their CPD. 

This qualification is aimed at learners over 18 years of age. 

This qualification replaces C00/1190/2 Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Speech & Language Therapy Support (Wales)  

Trade Union Learning Representatives 

L 1

The Agored Cymru Level 1 Extended Award for Trade Union Learning Representatives provides an introductory course for trade union learning reps (ULRs) who are new to their role or who have not undertaken training before. It seeks to support ULRs to be effective in carrying out this role and supporting the wider work of the branch by covering the following knowledge and skills: 

The key objective of this qualification is that ULRs leave the course confident and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to carry out their role effectively in the workplace. 

This is a restricted qualification, aimed at learners over 16 years of age. Learners will either need to be elected trade union representatives or there will be an expectation that they become a trade union representative.

Lles Cymunedol

Mae’r cymhwyster Agored Cymru Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Lles Cymunedol yn berthnasol i bob cyflogwr ledled Cymru sydd â / a fydd â rolau sy’n gysylltiedig â lles cymunedol yn y dyfodol, megis cynghorau/awdurdodau lleol, sefydliadau preifat sy’n gysylltiedig â lles, clybiau chwaraeon a hamdden, a sefydliadau cymunedol.

Nod y cymhwyster hwn yw:

· darparu’r wybodaeth a’r cymhwysedd i gefnogi a gwella gweithwyr lles i alluogi unigolion i gysylltu ag asedau cymunedol a rheoli eu lles corfforol, meddyliol, emosiynol a chymdeithasol yn well.

· darparu achrediad cydnabyddedig sy’n addas i ymarferwyr a chyflogwyr i fynd i’r afael â’r blwch sgiliau a’r angen am wasanaethau rhagweithiol fel yr amlinellir yn adroddiad Llesiant Cymru

· cyfrannu at safoni ansawdd a chysondeb y sector Lles Cymunedol a’r gefnogaeth gysylltiedig a ddarperir ledled Cymru.

Mae’r cymhwyster hwn wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 16 oed.

Delweddu Clinigol a Gwyddorau Ymbelydredd

Nod cymhwyster Agored Cymru Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Delweddu Clinigol a Gwyddorau Ymbelydredd yw rhoi cyflwyniad i Weithwyr Cymorth Gofal Iechyd a Gweithwyr Cymorth Clinigol Radioleg (RCSW) Band 2 a 3 i arferion gwaith diogel ac effeithiol mewn delweddu clinigol a gwyddorau ymbelydredd. Mae’n gymhwyster seiliedig ar waith sy’n bodloni disgwyliadau Fframwaith Sgiliau a Gyrfaoedd GIG Cymru ar gyfer Gweithwyr Cymorth Gofal Iechyd sy’n cefnogi proffesiynau Nyrsio, Proffesiynau Perthynol i Iechyd (AHP) a Gwyddorau Gofal Iechyd.

Bydd y cymhwyster ar gael drwy’r llwybr prentisiaeth ond gellir ei ddarparu hefyd fel cymhwyster annibynnol lle bo angen.

Mae’r cymhwyster hwn wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 18 oed.

Cymorth Dietegol

Mae’r cymhwyster Agored Cymru Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Cymorth Dietegol ar gyfer gweithwyr cymorth yn GIG Cymru, sy’n darparu cymorth dietegol i unigolion mewn ysbytai, lleoliadau iechyd cyhoeddus, cymunedol a chartrefi dan gyfarwyddyd dietegydd.

Mae’n cydnabod y rolau a gyflawnir ar hyn o bryd gan weithwyr cymorth dietegol sy’n gweithio gydag unigolion yn y gwasanaethau canlynol:

· gwasanaethau oedolion

· gwasanaethau pediatrig

· iechyd y cyhoedd

· gwasanaethau arlwyo

Er mwyn dilyn y cymhwyster hwn, rhaid i ddysgwyr gael eu cyflogi mewn rolau lle mae’r Gwasanaeth Dieteg naill ai’n rhan o’u gwaith, neu dyna yw eu gwaith yn gyfan gwbl. Gall hyn fod yn y GIG, yr awdurdod lleol neu’r Sector Cyhoeddus.

Dyma’r cymhwyster sy’n cael ei ffafrio ar gyfer gweithwyr cymorth dietegol yng Nghymru. Bydd gweithwyr cymorth dietegol yn cael cyfle i gwblhau’r cymhwyster a/neu gyflawni elfennau ohono ar gyfer datblygiad proffesiynol parhaus (DPP). Fe’i cynlluniwyd i gefnogi newidiadau mewn ymarfer dros amser.

Mae’r cymhwyster hwn wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 18 oed.

Cymorth Therapi Lleferydd ac Iaith

Mae'r cymhwyster Agored Cymru Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Cymorth Therapi Lleferydd ac Iaith (Cymru) ar gyfer gweithwyr cymorth mewn lleoliadau sy’n cynnig Gwasanaeth Therapi Iaith a Lleferydd yng Nghymru, sy'n rhoi cymorth i unigolion dan gyfarwyddyd Therapydd Iaith a Lleferydd proffesiynol cofrestredig. Mae’n cynnig cymhwyster sy’n cydnabod y rolau a gyflawnir ar hyn o bryd gan weithwyr cymorth a gyflogir gan GIG Cymru.

I ymgymryd â’r cymhwyster hwn, rhaid i ddysgwyr fod wedi’i cyflogi mewn rolau lle mae’n ofynnol iddynt ddefnyddio sgiliau cymorth Therapi Lleferydd ac Iaith. Cafodd y cymhwyster ei ddatblygu er mwyn llywodraethu ymarfer yng Nghymru drwy sicrhau ansawdd allanol.

Hwn yw'r cymhwyster a ffefrir gan GIG Cymru, a disgwylir y bydd pob gweithiwr cymorth Therapi Lleferydd ac Iaith yn cael y cyfle i gwblhau'r cymhwyster. Efallai y bydd dysgwyr hefyd yn gallu ymgymryd ag unedau unigol o’r cymhwyster fel rhan o’u DPP.

Cynrychiolwyr Dysgu Undebau Llafur

Mae’r cymhwyster Agored Cymru Dyfarniad Estynedig Lefel 1 ar gyfer Cynrychiolwyr Dysgu Undebau Llafur yn darparu cwrs rhagarweiniol ar gyfer cynrychiolwyr dysgu undebau llafur sy’n newydd i’w rôl neu nad ydynt wedi ymgymryd â hyfforddiant o’r blaen. Mae’n ceisio cefnogi cynrychiolwyr dysgu undebau llafur i fod yn effeithiol wrth gyflawni’r rôl hon a chefnogi gwaith ehangach y gangen drwy gwmpasu’r wybodaeth a’r sgiliau canlynol:

· Rôl undebau llafur mewn dysgu a sgiliau
· Rôl y cynrychiolwyr dysgu undebau llafur
· Dulliau undebau llafur o ddysgu yn y gweithle a modelau arfer gorau perthnasol

Amcan allweddol y cymhwyster hwn yw bod cynrychiolwyr dysgu undebau llafur yn gadael y cwrs yn hyderus ac yn meddu ar y wybodaeth a’r sgiliau sydd eu hangen i gyflawni eu rôl yn effeithiol yn y gweithle.

Mae hwn yn gymhwyster cyfyngedig, wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 16 oed. Bydd angen i ddysgwyr fod yn gynrychiolwyr undebau llafur etholedig neu bydd disgwyl iddynt ddod yn gynrychiolwyr undebau llafur.
