Our financial education qualifications, transitioning from LIBF to Agored Cymru, are progressing well - stakeholders are invited to join our Steering Groups to shape their development.
We’ve also extended review dates for key qualifications, provided updates on those under review, and detailed upcoming deadlines for cross-centre moderation and claims to ensure timely certification.

We are currently developing exciting new qualifications for post 16 learners in further education, sixth form colleges and workplace learning. These include topics in a range of subjects, for example, digital, healthcare and sports.
For our pre 16 learners, our focus is on the development of new National 14-16 Qualifications that support the aims and purposes of the Curriculum for Wales. These include the new work-related VCSEs (Vocational Certificate of Secondary Education), along with the Skills Suite and Foundation qualifications.
These qualifications will build on the success of our current Learning Core qualifications which have been available to schools for over 10 years.

Supporting and Empowering Individuals with Long-term Conditions
The Agored Cymru Level 4 Diploma in Supporting and Empowering Individuals with Long-term Conditions is aimed at non-registered health and social care staff, wellbeing practitioners and health and well-being practitioners working in primary care.
It aims to give practitioners the knowledge and understanding, and tools and skills for wellbeing support in both general and complex care. It uses a range of evidence-based practice, including promoting health and wellbeing through behaviour change, helping individuals to manage chronic long-term conditions, while considering patient choice and wider context of people’s lives.
The qualification consists of a mandatory group of units that cover behaviour change theory and practice, together with clinical governance and accountability in clinical decision making within the learner’s scope of practice. Learners are then able to choose from optional condition-specific units that relate to their area of primary care practice, with a focus on supporting the management of long-term conditions.
Following completion of this qualification, learners could choose to train as a registered nurse. Alternatively, this qualification offers a progression route from L3 for those who wish to progress in primary care.
This qualification is aimed at learners over 18 years of age.
It is expected that the learner is Level 3 qualified.

Esports Leadership

The Agored Cymru Level 3 Award in Esports Leadership provides the learners with the knowledge and skills required to organise Esports sessions that are safe and engaging to participants.
They will learn about the structure of the Esports ecosystem, including the key stakeholders; the leadership skills required for team management and coaching; tournament design, regulation and ethical practice. They will also explore emerging trends and developments in the Esports industry.
This qualification is aimed at learners over 16.
Learners will be required to be registered with Esports Wales and use the associated training materials provided by the organisation.
Agored Cymru Level 3 Award in Esports Leadership C00/5103/2
Perinatal Care (Wales)
The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Perinatal Care (Wales) is for healthcare and maternity support workers, working within perinatal services in Wales. Individuals in this role provide care under the delegation of a registered practitioner to women, birthing people, babies and their families.
The qualification develops the clinical skills and knowledge required by the health care and maternity support worker, to provide person and family centred holistic care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
This qualification is aimed at learners over 18.
To undertake this qualification, learners must be employed by NHS Wales in a perinatal setting.

Estates Services in a Healthcare Setting

The Agored Cymru Level 2 Diploma in Estates Services in a Healthcare Setting provides the knowledge and skills required by those delivering estates services within a health setting.
It enables the learner to perform activities such as routine maintenance, repairs and compliance checks, while being aware of measures required to ensure the safety of patients, staff and visitors to the premises.
The qualification is designed to ensure healthcare estates are efficiently managed to meet the highest standards, creating safe and supportive environments for both patients and healthcare staff.
It also prepares professionals to address the unique challenges of healthcare facilities, where operational reliability and regulatory compliance are critical to patient care and safety.
Through this qualification, individuals will gain the skills needed to contribute to the smooth running of healthcare services and support the delivery of quality care.
The qualification is aimed at learners over 16.
Agored Cymru Level 2 Diploma in Estates Services in a Healthcare Setting (C00/5113/1)
Data Analytics
The Agored Cymru Level 3 Diploma in Data Analytics develops the skills required for data management and reporting, analysis and visualisation, including data ethics and security.
It is appropriate for learners employed in roles that require data handling and analysis and wish to improve their data analysis skills; data engineers or analysts wishing to move into digital roles or those wishing to move into a career in data analytics.
The qualification develops critical thinking skills in the sourcing and use of data. It compares techniques for data modelling and analysis and explores software available for data visualisation.
The qualification comprises mandatory units and optional units from which the learner can select, to meet the needs of their role or career aspiration.
The qualification is aimed at learners over 16.
The qualification is appropriate for a learner in a range of roles including:

Working with Young People
This qualification is aimed at individuals who wish to explore working with young people. It aims to provide a grounding for those who decide to move into further training or employment related to working with young people.
Roles may include but are not limited to; learning support assistant, social work, youth work, play work, social care, youth justice, support work, counselling, public health.
The overall purpose is to provide learners with knowledge, understanding and skills related to working with young people in a variety of support settings.
The qualification is aimed at learners over 16.
The qualification includes the following topics:

At Agored Cymru, our suite of Access to Higher Education Diplomas provides opportunities for adult learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to progress to higher education successfully. These Diplomas span a range of subject areas, including health, science, computing, and the humanities and social sciences.
We are delighted to confirm the winners of the Agored Cymru Access to Higher Education (AHE) Learner of the Year Awards 2024. Centres were invited to nominate learners in two categories, and this year we received a significant number of nominations. The standard of entries was exceptionally high, making it challenging to identify the winners.
Outstanding Academic Achievement: Shannon Jade - Humanities and Social Sciences - Gower College Swansea
Outstanding Commitment to Study: Roxanne Hale - Health Science - Cardiff and Vale College
Shannon and Roxanne will receive their awards at events at their respective colleges in February. Additionally, they have been nominated for the prestigious Keith Fletcher Memorial Prize, which considers nominations from Access Courses at colleges across the UK. Winners of the Keith Fletcher Memorial Prize will be announced in late January, and we wish Shannon and Roxanne every success.
As we start a new calendar year, Agored Cymru will be launching consultations to support the development of new Diploma titles. We will also invite centres and AHE practitioners to provide feedback on several proposed modifications to existing AHE Diplomas.

To enhance the range of options and broaden progression routes, we also plan to introduce new unit groups (modules) within AHE Diplomas. Initial proposals include modules in:

AHE Diplomas are subject to robust external moderation processes. For September 2024 intakes, subject moderation activities will begin in January 2025 and run until the end of the academic year. Midyear summative centre moderation is scheduled for February and June.
Centres will shortly receive communications regarding cross-centre standardisation, scheduled for March 2025. These sessions are intended to be conducted face-to-face on centre premises where possible. If in-person sessions are not feasible, standardisation will be held online.
We remind centres that AHE learners must be registered within six weeks of their start date. For January intakes, we understand that start dates may vary, and we are happy to agree on a registration period with each centre. Following registration, centres must submit an assessment schedule to support planning for external moderation.

Over the past year, we have continued to fulfil our promises as we pursue the positive changes required to reduce centre burden and improve efficiencies.
Some of the most recent updates have included:

You told us that we needed to improve the way the centre’s EQA reports were listed. Changes have been made enabling centres to access EQA reports more easily. The External Quality Assurance page on your Agored Cymru account now includes the date and focus of the activity as well as the date it was released to the centre.
You told us that you wanted to see some specific topics being the focus of our Quality Support Webinars. These topics have been included in our Quality Support Webinar plan for 2025.
We will continue to listen to centres as we look to improve processes and procedures so that we can reduce burden on centres and support them moving forward.


Thank you to all centres that have provided the Welsh language information that is required at the point of registration and claiming. Centres should refer to the bulletin sent on 11 June 2024 regarding Preferred Assessment Language and Actual Assessment Language.
Thank you also to those centres that have submitted their Centre Annual Review (CAR) Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ). For those that have not yet responded, please note that the closing date for submission was 13 December 2024. A completed CAR SAQ will result in a CAR report being released to centres which can be viewed on the Agored Cymru website within the Course and Class Administration section of your ‘My Account’.
In readiness for the Vocational and Technical Qualification (VTQ) term time checkpoints for 2024-2025, please note the updated approach and key dates and deadlines on the dedicated webpage (Delivery of VTQ Results for 2024 and Beyond).
We would like to bring to your attention some key considerations in, what we call, our Quality Spotlight.
For this bulletin, we have focussed on Conflicts of interest
Conflict(s) of Interest
- ✅ All centre-based perceived, potential or actual conflicts of interest must be identified and effectively managed, including, whether or not they may have an adverse effect on an individual.
- ✅ Centres must have in place up-to-date written conflict of interest policy and procedure(s), accessible to all centre staff, which detail how perceived/potential/actual conflicts of interest should be identified, recorded, managed and monitored.
- ✅ Centres must declare any conflicts of interest that arise from staff who act as an assessor, internal quality assurer (IQA)/internal moderator (IM) or any other member of staff who has a personal interest in the outcome of learner assessment to Agored Cymru by completing Centre Declaration of Conflict of Interest form (CI1).
- ✅ The Centre Declaration of Conflict of Interest form (CI1) should be submitted to Agored Cymru via secure file transfer for the attention of an Agored Cymru Quality Manager.
- ✅ Agored Cymru will schedule a CASS/external quality assurance/external moderation activity to monitor the conflict of interest. The centre will be required to submit learner work and all associated assessment and IQA/IM records for CASS/external quality assurance/external moderation by the date agreed/on request.

A number of cross-centre moderation activities will continue to take place throughout 2024-2025. All centres offering the qualifications listed in the table below should contribute to a cross-centre moderation activity, where possible*.
Following each cross-centre moderation activity, we will be inviting contributing centres to a stakeholder panel which is a good opportunity for centres to discuss the outcomes of the activity, as well as meeting and networking with other centres delivering the same qualification(s).

New centres who have not been part of an external quality assurance (EQA) activity previously will be required to undertake individual EQA activity instead of cross-centre moderation, so that we can offer direct support and guidance on delivery, assessment and internal quality assurance (IQA).
Learning Core Qualifications include: Personal and Social Education (PSE); Work Related Education (WRE); Learning in the Outdoors (LiTO), Wales, Europe and the World (WEW), and Exploring Worldviews (EWV). earning Core Qualifications include: Personal and Social Education (PSE); Work Related Education (WRE); Learning in the Outdoors (LiTO), Wales, Europe and the World (WEW), and Exploring Worldviews (EWV).
Learning Core Cross-centre moderation – Award of credit
For each qualification you are intending to claim for in summer 2025 (e.g. PSE, WRE), you must have provided a sample for cross-centre moderation (or for an alternative EQA activity), so that we can make a decision regarding the award of credit.
If a claim is submitted for a qualification that has not been sampled in the 2024-25 period, we cannot award credit until an EQA activity, such as cross-centre moderation, has been successfully completed.
We are fully committed to the parity of treatment for learners taking Vocational and Technical Qualifications (VTQs), and wherever possible, Agored Cymru issues results in advance of General Qualifications (GQ) results so that the flexibilities, which are a valued aspect of VTQs, are not undermined.
Please note that claims will not be approved until a successful EQA activity has taken place i.e., where credit has been approved by an external quality assurer following scrutiny of evidence.
Claims for learners requiring certification for qualifications used for progression to Further Education should be submitted by 13 June 2025, even if you are contributing to the June 2025 cross-centre moderation activity and do not yet know the outcome.
It is important that centres submit claims to any given deadline to enable Agored Cymru to issue timely results.
Centres should note that whenever a claim(s) is submitted to Agored Cymru, all requested assessment evidence and associated documentation/information must be readily available for any potential EQA activity. If an EQA activity is required, but the centre is unable to provide the requested evidence, the EQA reserves the right to terminate the external quality assurance activity and the centre may be charged. Any related claim(s) may be rejected.

Did you know?
External quality assurance activities can take place while courses are still running. As long as internal quality assurance has taken place on part of the completed assessment, we can sample assessment evidence and internal quality assurance processes and documentation. Carrying out external quality assurance sampling in this way may contribute to the effective processing of claims.

Mae’n galluogi’r dysgwr i gyflawni gweithgareddau fel cynnal a chadw rheolaidd, atgyweiriadau ac archwiliadau cydymffurfio, gan fod yn ymwybodol o’r mesurau sydd eu hangen i sicrhau diogelwch cleifion, staff ac ymwelwyr â’r safle.
Mae’r cymhwyster wedi’i gynllunio i sicrhau bod ystadau gofal iechyd yn cael eu rheoli’n effeithlon i gyrraedd y safonau uchaf, gan greu amgylcheddau diogel a chefnogol i gleifion a staff gofal iechyd.
Mae hefyd yn paratoi gweithwyr proffesiynol i fynd i'r afael â heriau unigryw cyfleusterau gofal iechyd, lle mae dibynadwyedd gweithredol a chydymffurfiaeth reoliadol yn hanfodol i ofal a diogelwch cleifion.
Drwy’r cymhwyster hwn, bydd unigolion yn ennill y sgiliau sydd eu hangen i gyfrannu at sicrhau bod gwasanaethau gofal iechyd yn rhedeg yn esmwyth ac i gefnogi’r gwaith o ddarparu gofal o safon.
Mae’r cymhwyster wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 16 oed.
Dadansoddi Data
Mae Agored Cymru Diploma Lefel 3 mewn Dadansoddi Data yn datblygu’r sgiliau sydd eu hangen ar gyfer rheoli data ac adrodd, dadansoddi a delweddu, gan gynnwys moeseg a diogelwch data.
Mae’n briodol ar gyfer dysgwyr a gyflogir mewn rolau sy’n gofyn am drin a dadansoddi data ac sy’n dymuno gwella eu sgiliau dadansoddi data; peirianwyr neu ddadansoddwyr data sy’n dymuno symud i rolau digidol neu’r rhai sy’n dymuno symud i yrfa mewn dadansoddeg data.
Mae’r cymhwyster yn datblygu sgiliau meddwl beirniadol wrth gyrchu a defnyddio data. Mae’n cymharu technegau ar gyfer modelu a dadansoddi data ac yn archwilio meddalwedd sydd ar gael ar gyfer delweddu data.
Mae’r cymhwyster yn cynnwys unedau gorfodol ac unedau dewisol y gall y dysgwr ddewis o’u plith, i ddiwallu anghenion eu rôl neu eu dyhead gyrfa.
Mae’r cymhwyster wedi’i anelu at ddysgwyr dros 16 oed.

Gweithio hefo Bobl Ifanc
Mae’r cymhwyster hwn wedi’i anelu at unigolion sy’n dymuno archwilio gweithio gyda phobl ifanc. Ei nod yw darparu sylfaen i’r rhai sy’n penderfynu symud i hyfforddiant pellach neu gyflogaeth sy’n gysylltiedig â gweithio gyda phobl ifanc.
Gall rolau gynnwys ond heb fod yn gyfyngedig i; cynorthwyydd cymorth dysgu, gwaith cymdeithasol, gwaith ieuenctid, gwaith chwarae, gofal cymdeithasol, cyfiawnder ieuenctid, gwaith cymorth, cwnsela, iechyd y cyhoedd.
Y diben cyffredinol yw darparu gwybodaeth, dealltwriaeth a sgiliau i ddysgwyr sy’n gysylltiedig â gweithio gyda phobl ifanc mewn amrywiaeth o leoliadau cymorth.

Wrth i flwyddyn ddiwethaf ddod i ben, braint oedd cael y cyfle i fynychu prynhawn gwobrau blynyddol Byddin yr Iachawdwriaeth yn The Haven. Roedd y digwyddiad ysbrydoledig hwn yn dathlu cyflawniadau rhyfeddol dysgwyr a fu’n cymryd rhan mewn cyrsiau achrededig Agored Cymru drwy gydol y flwyddyn.

Mae’r wobr hon yn cydnabod partneriaeth sydd wedi arwain y ffordd wrth drawsnewid hyfforddiant a datblygiad y gweithlu ar draws GIG Cymru.

Mae gan Agored Cymru gyfres o Ddiplomâu Mynediad i Addysg Uwch sy'n darparu cyfleoedd i ddysgwyr oedolion ddatblygu'r sgiliau, y wybodaeth, a'r hyder sydd eu hangen i symud ymlaen yn llwyddiannus i addysg uwch. Mae'r Diplomâu hyn ar gael ar draws amrywiaeth o feysydd pwnc, gan gynnwys iechyd, gwyddoniaeth, cyfrifiadura, a'r dyniaethau a'r gwyddorau cymdeithasol.
Mae’n bleser gennym gadarnhau enillwyr Gwobrau Dysgwr y Flwyddyn Mynediad i Addysg Uwch (AHE) Agored Cymru 2024. Gwahoddwyd canolfannau i enwebu dysgwyr mewn dau gategori, ac eleni cawsom nifer sylweddol o enwebiadau. Roedd safon yr holl enwebiadau'n eithriadol o uchel, gan wneud y broses o ddewis enillwyr yn heriol.

Ymroddiad Eithriadol i Astudio: Roxanne Hale - Gwyddor Iechyd - Coleg Caerdydd a’r Fro
Bydd Shannon a Roxanne yn derbyn eu gwobrau mewn digwyddiadau yn eu colegau priodol ym mis Chwefror. Yn ogystal, maent wedi'u henwebu ar gyfer Gwobr Goffa Keith Fletcher, sy'n ystyried enwebiadau o Gyrsiau Mynediad mewn colegau ar draws y DU. Cyhoeddir enillwyr Gwobr Keith Fletcher ddiwedd mis Ionawr, a dymunwn bob llwyddiant i Shannon a Roxanne.
Wrth i ni ddechrau blwyddyn galendr newydd, bydd Agored Cymru yn lansio ymgynghoriadau i gefnogi datblygiad teitlau Diploma newydd. Byddwn hefyd yn gwahodd canolfannau ac ymarferwyr AHE i ystyried ac i roi adborth ar nifer o newidiadau arfaethedig i Ddiplomâu AHE presennol.

Er mwyn ehangu'r opsiynau a'r llwybrau dilyniant, rydym hefyd yn bwriadu cyflwyno grwpiau unedau newydd (modiwlau) i Ddiplomâu AHE. Mae cynigion cychwynnol yn cynnwys modiwlau yn:

Mae Diplomâu AHE yn destun prosesau cymedroli allanol cadarn. Ar gyfer derbyniadau mis Medi 2024, bydd gweithgareddau cymedroli pwnc yn dechrau ym mis Ionawr 2025 ac yn parhau hyd ddiwedd y flwyddyn academaidd. Cynhelir cymedroli crynodol canolfannau canol y flwyddyn ym mis Chwefror a mis Mehefin.
Bydd canolfannau'n derbyn cyfathrebiadau yn fuan ynghylch safoni rhwng canolfannau, a drefnir ar gyfer mis Mawrth 2025. Bwriedir cynnal y sesiynau hyn wyneb yn wyneb yn safleoedd y canolfannau lle bo'n bosibl. Os na fydd hynny'n bosibl, cynhelir safoni ar-lein.
Rydym yn atgoffa canolfannau bod rhaid cofrestru dysgwyr AHE o fewn chwe wythnos i’w dyddiad cychwyn. Ar gyfer derbyniadau mis Ionawr, rydym yn cydnabod y gall dyddiadau cychwyn amrywio, ac rydym yn barod i gytuno ar gyfnod cofrestru gyda phob canolfan. Ar ôl cofrestru, rhaid i ganolfannau gyflwyno amserlen asesu i gefnogi cynllunio ar gyfer cymedroli allanol.

Dros y flwyddyn ddiwethaf, rydym wedi parhau i gyflawni ein haddewidion wrth i ni fynd ar drywydd y newidiadau cadarnhaol i leihau’r baich ar ganolfannau a gwella effeithlonrwydd.

Fe wnaethoch chi ddweud wrthym fod angen i ni wella’r ffordd yr oedd adroddiadau Sicrhau Ansawdd Allanol y ganolfan yn cael eu rhestru. Mae newidiadau wedi’i gwneud sy’n galluogi canolfannau i gael mynediad haws i adroddiadau Sicrhau Ansawdd Allanol. Mae’r dudalen Sicrhau Ansawdd Allanol ar eich cyfrif Agored Cymru bellach yn cynnwys dyddiad a ffocws y gweithgaredd yn ogystal â’r dyddiad y cafodd ei ryddhau i’r ganolfan.
Fe wnaethoch chi ddweud wrthym eich bod am weld rhai pynciau penodol yn ffocws i’n Gweminarau Cefnogaeth Ansawdd. Mae’r pynciau hyn wedi eu cynnwys yn ein cynllun Gweminarau Cefnogaeth Ansawdd ar gyfer 2025.
Byddwn yn parhau i wrando ar ganolfannau wrth inni geisio gwella prosesau a gweithdrefnau fel y gallwn leihau’r baich ar ganolfannau a’u cefnogi wrth symud ymlaen.


Diolch i bob canolfan sydd wedi darparu’r wybodaeth Gymraeg sydd ei hangen ar adeg cofrestru a hawlio. Dylai canolfannau gyfeirio at y bwletin a anfonwyd ar 11 Mehefin 2024 ynghylch Iaith Asesiad a Ffafrir ac Iaith Asesu Gwirioneddol.
Diolch hefyd i’r canolfannau hynny sydd wedi cyflwyno eu Holiadur Hunanasesu Adolygiadau Blynyddol Canolfan. I’r rhai nad ydynt wedi ymateb eto, nodwch mai’r dyddiad cau ar gyfer cyflwyno yw 13 Rhagfyr 2024. Bydd Holiadur Hunanasesu Adolygiad Blynyddol Canolfan wedi’i gwblhau yn arwain at adroddiad Adolygiad Blynyddol Canolfan yn cael ei ryddhau i ganolfannau, a gellir ei weld ar wefan Agored Cymru yn adran Gweinyddu Cwrs a Dosbarth yn eich ‘Fy Nghyfrif’.
Er mwyn paratoi ar gyfer pwyntiau gwirio yn ystod y tymor ar gyfer Cymwysterau Galwedigaethol a Thechnegol ar gyfer 2024-25, nodwch y dull gweithredu wedi’i ddiweddaru, dyddiadau allweddol a’r dyddiadau cau ar y dudalen we bwrpasol (Cyflwyno Canlyniadau ar gyfer Cymwysterau Galwedigaethol a Thechnegol ar gyfer 2024 a thu hwnt).
Hoffem dynnu eich sylw at rai ystyriaethau allweddol yn, yr hyn yr ydym yn ei alw, ein Ffocws Ansawdd.
Ar gyfer y bwletin hwn, rydym wedi nodi’r maes allweddol Gwrthdaro buddiannau.
Gwrthdaro Buddiannau
- ✅ Rhaid i bob achos o wrthdaro buddiannau canfyddedig, posibl neu wirioneddol yn y ganolfan gael ei nodi a’i reoli’n effeithiol, gan gynnwys, p’un a allent gael effaith andwyol ar unigolyn ai peidio.
- ✅ Rhaid i ganolfannau gael polisi a gweithdrefn(au) Gwrthdaro Buddiannau ysgrifenedig cyfredol ar waith, sy’n hygyrch i holl staff y ganolfan, sy’n manylu sut y dylid nodi, cofnodi, rheoli a monitro gwrthdaro buddiannau canfyddedig/posibl/gwirioneddol.
- ✅ Rhaid i ganolfannau ddatgan unrhyw wrthdaro buddiannau sy’n codi gan staff sy’n gweithredu fel aseswr, swyddog Sicrhau Ansawdd Mewnol (IQA)/cymedrolwr mewnol (IM) neu unrhyw aelod o staff arall sydd â buddiant personol yng nghanlyniad asesiad dysgwyr i Agored Cymru gan lenwi ffurflen Datganiad o Wrthdaro Buddiannau’r Ganolfan (Cl1).
- ✅ Dylid cyflwyno’r ffurflen Datganiad o Wrthdaro Buddiannau’r Ganolfan (Cl1) i Agored Cymru trwy drosglwyddiad ffeil diogel at sylw un o Reolwyr Ansawdd Agored Cymru.
- ✅ Bydd Agored Cymru yn trefnu gweithgaredd CASS/sicrwydd ansawdd allanol/cymedroli allanol i fonitro’r gwrthdaro buddiannau. Bydd yn ofynnol i’r ganolfan gyflwyno gwaith dysgwyr a’r holl gofnodion asesu a sicrwydd ansawdd mewnol/cymedroli mewnol cysylltiedig ar gyfer CASS/sicrwydd ansawdd allanol/cymedroli allanol erbyn y dyddiad y cytunwyd arno/ar gais.

Bydd nifer o weithgareddau cymedroli ar draws canolfannau yn parhau i gael eu cynnal drwy gydol 2024-2025. Dylai pob canolfan sy’n cynnig y cymwysterau a restrir yn y tabl isod gyfrannu at weithgaredd cymedroli ar draws canolfannau, lle bo modd*.

Bydd yn ofynnol i ganolfannau newydd nad ydynt wedi bod yn rhan o weithgarwch sicrhau ansawdd allanol (EQA) o’r blaen ymgymryd â gweithgaredd EQA unigol yn hytrach na chymedroli ar draws canolfannau, fel y gallwn gynnig cymorth ac arweiniad uniongyrchol ar gyflwyno, asesu a sicrhau ansawdd mewnol (IQA).
Mae Cymwysterau’r Craidd Dysgu yn cynnwys: Addysg Bersonol a Chymdeithasol; Addysg Gysylltiedig â Gwaith; Dysgu yn yr Awyr Agored; Cymru, Ewrop a’r Byd; ac Archwilio Bydolygon.
Cymedroli ar draws canolfannau’r Craidd Dysgu - dyfarnu credyd
Ar gyfer pob cymhwyster rydych yn bwriadu gwneud cais amdano yn haf 2025 (e.e. Addysg Bersonol a Chymdeithasol, Addysg Gysylltiedig â Gwaith), rhaid eich bod wedi darparu sampl ar gyfer cymedroli ar draws canolfannau (neu ar gyfer gweithgaredd EQA arall), er mwyn i ni allu gwneud penderfyniad ynghylch dyfarnu credyd.
Os cyflwynir hawliad am gymhwyster nad yw wedi’i samplu yn y cyfnod 2024-25, ni allwn ddyfarnu credydau nes bod gweithgaredd EQA, megis cymedroli ar draws canolfannau, wedi’i gwblhau’n llwyddiannus.
Rydym wedi ymrwymo’n llwyr i driniaeth gyfartal ar gyfer dysgwyr Cymwysterau Galwedigaethol a Thechnegol (VTQs) a lle bynnag y bo modd, mae Agored Cymru yn cyhoeddi canlyniadau cyn canlyniadau Cymwysterau Cyffredinol (GQ) fel nad yw’r hyblygrwydd, sy’n agwedd werthfawr o VTQs, yn cael eu tanseilio.
Sylwch na fydd hawliadau’n cael eu cymeradwyo nes bod gweithgareddau EQA llwyddiannus wedi’u cynnal h.y. lle mae credyd wedi’i gymeradwyo gan swyddog sicrhau ansawdd allanol ar ôl craffu ar dystiolaeth.
Dylid cyflwyno hawliadau ar gyfer dysgwyr y mae angen ardystiad arnynt ar gyfer cymwysterau a ddefnyddir ar gyfer symud ymlaen i Addysg Bellach erbyn 13 Mehefin 2025, hyd yn oed os ydych yn cyfrannu at weithgaredd cymedroli ar draws canolfannau Mehefin 2025 ac nad ydych yn gwybod y canlyniad eto.
Mae’n bwysig bod canolfannau yn cyflwyno hawliadau erbyn y dyddiadau cau penodol er mwyn galluogi Agored Cymru i gyhoeddi canlyniadau yn amserol.
Dylai canolfannau nodi, pryd bynnag y cyflwynir hawliad(au) i Agored Cymru, rhaid i’r holl dystiolaeth asesu y gofynnir amdani a’r ddogfennaeth/gwybodaeth gysylltiedig fod ar gael yn rhwydd ar gyfer unrhyw weithgaredd EQA posibl. Os oes angen gweithgaredd EQA, ond nad yw’r ganolfan yn gallu darparu’r dystiolaeth y gofynnwyd amdani, mae’r EQA yn cadw’r hawl i derfynu’r gweithgaredd sicrhau ansawdd allanol ac efallai codir tâl ar y ganolfan. Gall unrhyw hawliad(au) cysylltiedig gael eu gwrthod.

Oeddech chi'n gwybod?
Gall gweithgareddau sicrhau ansawdd allanol ddigwydd tra bod cyrsiau’n dal yn cael eu cyflwyno. Cyn belled â bod sicrhau ansawdd mewnol wedi’i gyflawni ar ran o’r asesiad sydd wedi’i gwblhau, gallwn samplu tystiolaeth asesu a’r prosesau a’r ddogfennaeth sicrhau ansawdd mewnol. Gall cynnal samplu sicrhaud ansawdd allanol fel hyn gyfrannu at brosesu hawliadau yn effeithiol.
